John P. Osborne (b. 1951) resides in Ringwood, New Jersey. He finds locations for his landscape paintings throughout New England and the Ramapo Mountains: serene winter scenes in New Hampshire, vibrant Vermont autumns, sparkling springs in Rhode Island. Osborne is also a traveling man and has painted in Alaska, New Mexico, South Carolina, Montana, New Foundland and Great Britain. He is a master of light who can penetrate the clouds with a streak of light, cast haunting shadows across a grassy green meadow, and create accurate reflections of light from streams and ponds. Osborne is a graduate of the Pratt Institute in New York and has been showing with the John Pence Gallery for over a decade. In addition to his affiliation in San Francisco, he has been represented throughout the country and overseas including: Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, Indiana, New Mexico, New Jersey; as well as U. S. Embassies in the USSR, South America, Africa and Indonesia. Osborne's paintings range in size from small gems to epic landscapes. We have a strong number of Osborne paintings on hand at all times. His prices currently range from $2,800 to $40,000, depending on size and subject matter. |
