Donald Demers - (b. 1956) is a painter that hails from Maine and is considered to be one of the finest marine painters in the country today. In recent years he has extended his reach to landscape paintings and has now become firmly entrenched in that field as well. Demers is a Fellow of the American Society of Marine Artists and is the leading award winner at the International Marine Art Exhibition sponsored by the Mystic Seaport Museum.

Demers has been featured in severalmuseums, including the Frye Museum, Seattle; the Cummer Museum inJacksonville, FL.; and the Haggin Museum in Stockton, CA. American Artist Magazine has featured his work on several occasions.

Demers' works range in price from $4,200 to $45,000 depending upon size and complexity. Marine collectors have sought out his paintings for many years and, as a result, he is found in most of the prestigious collections on the East Coast.
